First Horizon Emerging Artist Program
First Horizon, a champion of innovative ideas and the entrepreneurial spirit, is supporting emerging artists as a 2025 sponsor of 4 Bridges Arts Festival. The Emerging Artist Program is designed to nurture and advance the careers of local talent, by providing exhibition space to individuals who have limited experience showing their work at art festival or in galleries. This program supports the burgeoning careers of emerging artists by introducing the community to dynamic, new creative perspectives. Artists accepted into the program will receive:
Festival preparation guidance and mentoring from Sarah Moore, AVA's Director of Festivals
Mentoring from another local artist with extensive experience showing and selling at major festivals
A free standard booth space at 4BAF
Access to AVA's portable screens for hanging work, and other booth materials
Extensive marketing related to the program
The application is free, and you do not need to be an AVA member to participate. All Emerging Artists must be at least 18 years old and must live in Chattanooga or within a 45-mile radius. They must not have prior solo gallery show experience, or prior experience showing at a major art festival (participation in AVA's Between The Bridges show is fine!).
