Anchor
Digital Presence Coaching for Artists
The Anchor Program is a twelve-week, cohort-based learning program designed to help artists build sustainable, manageable systems for sharing their work while staying focused on making it.
Meeting once a week in a small group, participants work from the ground up to establish or refine the core tools that support visibility and professional communication. This may include a website, Instagram, and the use of artwork archives or a database to organize their work. Some artists enter the program with an existing online presence, while others start from scratch. The program is designed to meet artists where they are.
Anchor emphasizes shared learning, accountability, and flexibility. Weekly sessions include guided instruction, group discussion, and individual check-ins, allowing participants to learn from one another while developing systems that align with their time, capacity, and values. The program is not about growth metrics or constant posting. It is about clarity, stability, and reducing the pressure artists feel to do everything alone.
Anchor is ideal for artists who want to make strong work, communicate it clearly, and build sustainable habits that support long-term practice.
Participation Requirements
Anchor is intended for artists with an active studio practice who are ready to engage consistently over a twelve-week period. Participants should be willing to reflect on how they currently share their work and commit to light, manageable work between sessions.
During the application process, artists will be asked to share:
Whether they currently have an artist statement
If they have participated in Propeller or individual coaching
Whether they use a database or artwork archiving system
These questions help ensure the cohort is well supported and that the program meets participants where they are.
Cost:
$275 for non-members
$250 for members
