AVA VOICES

A Podcast for Artists by Artists

AVA Voices is an extension of the Association for Visual Arts’ mission to strengthen and promote Chattanooga’s visual arts ecosystem. Through conversations with local artists, educators, and arts leaders, the podcast highlights the people shaping our creative community and the ideas driving their work.

AVA believes a healthy, thriving arts community is built through connection, dialogue, and shared visibility. AVA Voices creates space for artists’ stories, practices, and lived experiences—amplifying voices across disciplines and career stages while deepening public engagement with the visual arts.

Recorded from AVA’s home on Frazier Avenue in the heart of the North Shore, the podcast reflects the same values found in our galleries and programs: support for diverse artists, commitment to education, and investment in long-term creative growth. Each episode is part of a larger ecosystem that includes rotating exhibitions, student showcases in the Landis Education Gallery, critique groups, workshops, and community gatherings.

AVA Voices isn’t just about art—it’s about the people behind it, and the relationships that make a creative city thrive.
