The AVA Impact Fund
For more than 38 years, the Association for Visual Arts (AVA) has helped shape and sustain Chattanooga’s creative community. We provide vital opportunities for artists and art lovers through exhibitions, professional development, and meaningful connections that strengthen our region’s visual arts ecosystem.
Your support makes this work possible. Through programs like our bi-monthly Critique Group, the AVA Propeller Program, expanded coaching and professional workshop opportunities, and community-centered events, AVA creates pathways for artists to grow their practice and build sustainable creative careers.
In addition, AVA produces the nationally recognized 4 Bridges Arts Festival and the Between the Bridges Local Arts Festival, which bring thousands of visitors into direct connection with local and regional artists each year. These festivals have become cornerstones of Chattanooga’s cultural calendar.
Last year alone, AVA welcomed more than 8,400 gallery visitors, showcased the work of 270+ artists, grew our membership to nearly 400 artists, and connected creative communities across 29 counties.
Your gift is an investment in artists, access, and community. Every contribution—large or small—helps ensure that Chattanooga remains a thriving home for the visual arts.
Ways to give: Make a one-time or recurring monthly gift
Thank you for helping us fuel the future of visual arts in our region.
Ricky Supan’s Scholarship Fund
In honor of Ricky Supan’s years of service to AVA, the Board of Directors created a scholarship fund to help subsidize the cost of membership for those in need. Please consider giving a donation to this fund. It will go directly to support artist wanting to join AVA, ensuring AVA is accessable to all.
