Why is AVA changing its membership structure?

AVA’s new membership structure reflects the many ways people support and engage with the arts. It creates clearer pathways, cumulative benefits, and stronger connections between artists, patrons, exhibitions, and festivals.

Do I need to do anything right now?

No. No action is required at this time. Your current membership, pricing, and benefits remain active until your paid-through date.

If I currently make monthly donations, how does that apply to AVA Access?

If you are currently supporting AVA through monthly donations, thank you — your generosity makes a meaningful impact.

Beginning in July 2026, AVA Access memberships will offer a monthly payment option. At that time, we’ll be able to consolidate your monthly giving into a recurring AVA Access membership at the level that aligns with your total annual contribution.

For example, a $25/month gift ($300 annually) qualifies for the AVA Access Premium level.

We’ll reach out to monthly donors directly when this option becomes available to ensure a smooth transition. If you’d like to make a change sooner, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help.

Can I upgrade my membership before my renewal date?

Yes. Simply email Mason@avarts.org and let them know which level you’d like to move to.

What does “cumulative benefits” mean?

With AVA Access, each membership level now includes all benefits from the levels below it, plus additional advantages.

What NEW benefits have been added under AVA Access?

Our enhanced membership levels—AVA Plus and AVA Premium—introduce several new benefits designed to support artists’ professional growth. These include:

• Increased gallery sales discount (now 15%)

• Coaching coupon ($50 value) plus access to AVA’s digital platforms

• Invitation to a private Curator Talk with featured gallery artists

• Professional photoshoot (up to 3 artwork images and 1 headshot)

• Four single-day tickets to the 4 Bridges Arts Festival (Saturday and Sunday)

What changed about 4BAF Patron packages?

4BAF Patron packages are now AVA membership levels, connecting festival support to year-round benefits and engagement.

Why did AVA remove “Artist” and “Donor” language?

We believe everyone who joins AVA contributes to a shared creative ecosystem. The new language reflects inclusion, connection, and collective support.

Are monthly payment plans available?

Monthly payment options for AVA Plus, AVA Premium, and AVA Patron levels will be available beginning July 2026, when AVA’s fiscal year begins.

What are the new Lifetime and Gallery Sponsor memberships?

These new options allow members to make long-term investments in AVA through lifetime support that avoids an increased membership rate over time or gallery sponsorship with expanded recognition and benefits.
