"How to Photograph Your Art" Workshop — $50

Saturday, September 12th from 10-1 PM

Learn how to photograph your artwork with confidence! AVA's contract photographer Anh Bao Tran-Le is leading a fun, hands-on workshop covering clean lighting, accurate color, great angles, and basic editing — all using your own camera or smartphone. No previous photography experience or special equipment required!

What to bring:
📱 A smartphone or camera you'd like to learn with
🖼️ Up to 3 pieces of artwork to photograph
💻 A laptop or mobile device for editing
🔋 Fully charged batteries and enough storage for photos
🎥 Any tripod or lighting gear you already own (not required)

For editing: Download Adobe Lightroom Mobile before the workshop — the free version is all you need. Prefer a different app? No problem. Techniques will be adaptable across platforms.

2nd Friday Studio Days —

$40/piece or $50/headshot

Get your artwork professionally photographed during open studio days. The Second Friday of each month from 1-3pm.

Two ways to participate:

• Drop your work off ahead of time, OR

• Book a 1:1 slot to attend the session in person on the second Friday.

Want to be in the shot? Headshot sessions are also available.

Book a 1:1 slot and your artist-with-artwork photo also doubles as a professional headshot.

Artist Headshots — $50

A 20-minute studio or outdoor session featuring you and your work. Scheduled outside 2nd Friday Studio Days. Appointments scheduled on a case by case basis.
