What are the dates for the 2019 4 Bridges Arts Festival?

Saturday, April 13, 10am-6pm

How are artists selected to exhibit in the festival?

 Artists must complete and submit an application through ZAPPlication.org. After the application submission deadline, a panel of jurors, who are respected art professional, reviews and scores each application. The top-scoring applications receive an invitation to participate in the festival.

AVA closed the application submission process for the 2019.  The application process for 2020 will begin in October 2019.

How much is the festival booth fee?

Booth fees are $500 for single booth, $550 for a corner booth, and $1000 for double. AVA members receive a $50 discount on all booth fees.  

What is the size of the festival booth?

The size of a single booth is 10' wide x 12' long.

The size of a double booth is 10' wide x 24' long 

When do the jurors decide who receives a merit award?

At 11 am on Saturday, April 13, Jurors begin the process of considering artists for the 2019 4BAF merit awards.

When will I know I have been accepted?

On December 1, artists, who completed and submitted applications through ZAPPlication.org, will receive email notifications that informs them about their status. 

How many artist are invited to exhibit during the festival?

The number of artists invited to exhibit is between 140 and 160. During the 2018 festival, 146 artist will be exhibiting.

What is the cost to attend the festival?

On Saturday and Sunday, the festival is open to the public with a $5 admission, children 12 and under are free.

What is special about the Preview Party? 

The Preview Party is a highly-anticipated celebration that kicks-off the festival. This year Warren Barnett and the staff at Barnett and Company are the presenting sponsors of the Preview Party. Thanks to Barnett and Company, the Preview Party will feature fine wine, craft beer, and top-shelf spirits selected specifically to compliment a menu of gourmet hors d’oeuvres, created by culinary master Lee Towery.

The highlight of every Preview Party is the debut of the 4 Bridges marketplace. Showcasing 146 artists from 28 states, the 2018 marketplace represents a sophisticated, whimsical, and provocative landscape of creativity, manicured by artists who cultivate using tools such as oils, porcelain, glass, watercolor, acrylics, linen, wood, leather, pastels, charcoal, precious stones, handcrafted textiles, enamel, inks, discarded objects, sterling silver, vintage papers, bronze, and clay. A collective of distinctively expressive and uniquely talented individuals, the 2018 roster of artists will exhibit work that is fresh, interesting, and best of all, affordable. Art enthusiasts can purchase original artwork ranging in price from $50 to $5,000.

The cost to attend the 2018 4BAF Preview Party is $100-$125/person.

Is parking available?

Conveniently located parking lots provide amble space for visitors. Parking is not free, and visitors can pay parking fees through either a ParkMobile app on their phone or at a free-standing kiosk located in the parking lot.
