Media Lab - Introduction to Flash

This course will explore the most basic level in the intricate realm of Adobe Flash, an animation-based application that can be utilized for everything from vector graphic cartooning to Web design. Topics to be covered will include understanding and working with layers, frames, and timelines; planning a flash movie; drawing, transforming, and tweening symbols; working with text; incorporating audio; and simple actionscript. Though no prior Flash experience is necessary, students should be comfortable working with a computer.
