Learn how to navigate the Mac file system, organize files, create file folders, play and burn CDs and DVDs, and use basic Mac and Web applications like iTunes, iPhoto and more.
Portfolio Development
February 10 & 24/ 12-1pm
This workshop is specifically designed for artists who want to learn how to masterfully document their own 2D and 3D artwork using AVA’s photo studio and equipment. Participants will be taught how to properly light their work, photograph it, and process the resulting digital images with Photoshop, avoiding glare, image distortion, and undesirable color casts for the best possible result in order to develop and maintain a professional portfolio.

Learn to use tools that make photo editing fast, easy and produce great results.
Social Media
April 13 & 27/ 12-1pm
This workshop will focus on the ever-increasing popularity of social networking sites and social media tools, such as Facebook and Twitter. The course will also introduce users to media-sharing and communications applications such as Flickr, YouTube, Skype, Tumblr that allow people to post photos and videos or communicate via streaming video.
