Individual Artist Fellowships are available from the Tennessee Arts Commission for Fiscal Year 2013 (July 1, 2012 – June 30, 2013).  
Deadline: January 23, 2012 by 4:30pm CST
Application must be submitted electronically, and must be received by Monday, January 23, 2012 by 4:30 p.m. (CST). The printed application and supporting documents must also be postmarked or hand delivered to the Tennessee Arts Commission on that date.The award provides fellowships to outstanding professional artists who live and work in Tennessee. No matching funds are required and no specific project has to be carried out with the funds. The Commission anticipates that each fellowship will be $5,000.In the coming year, the Commission may award up to two fellowships in each of the discipline categories. Categories for the fellowships include: Craft; Dance (solo performance and choreography); Design (graphic design); Literary Arts (fiction, creative nonfiction and poetry); Media (film, video, and photography); Music (solo instrumental performance); Theater (acting and directing); and Visual Arts (three-dimensional). The award is designed to recognize professional artists – individuals who either by education, experience, or natural talent engage in a particular arts form or discipline.

2011 AVA Juried Members Exhibition
Deadline: November 18
Apply now for the 2011 AVA Members Juried Exhibition. This show for AVA members only will feature, by juror selection, some of the bst professional and emerging artists in Chattanooga. The winner of the best in show award will receive the opportunity to have a solo show at AVA in November 2012. AVA is honored to have Rocky Horton as this year's juror.

GreenPages is currently seeking artwork for the covers of three upcoming community directories. Subject needs to be representative of the community in which the book is circulated. Business Developement Center
Call for Work
The Hamilton County Business Development Center has recently completed an extensive renovation of the 80+ year old INCubator on the North Shore at 100 Cherokee Blvd. We have interior designers working to furnish the common areas and a big Grand Opening planned for November 17th. The only thing missing is some rotating fantastic art to put the final sparkle on the gorgeous building. Security on site until 10 p.m. and camera system recently installed for security. No commission to pay out on sold pieces and lots of foot traffic!

Customs House Museum National Juried Exhibition
Deadline: February 16, 2012
The Customs House Museum in Clarksville, TN will host a National juried exhibition from May 10 through August 5, 2012. Open to all artists 18 yrs and older residing in the U.S. Entry deadline Feb. 16, 2012. Entry fee $30 for up to 3 entries. CD submissions only. Folk School of Chattanooga Call to Fiber Artists
The Folk School, Chattanooga's place for banjo, fiddle, guitar, dulcimer, and other musical instruction, has just relocated to the modern two-story silver metal box on Forest Ave., only four doors up from Frazier.  We are looking to fill our walls and halls with sound absorbing fiber art.
