AVA Media Center has a variety of quality audio-visual equipment available for two-day rental at affordable rates.
 Equipment can be rented out by reservation Wednesday-Saturday at the times below.
To make reservations, please call the Media Lab at 423.265.4282 - 102 (the Lab Monitor is at AVA Wednesdays 12-8 pm and Thursdays-Saturdays 12-5pm).

Equipment can be rented out between 12 and 4 as long as it is in stock and not reserved. Arrangements should be made directly with the lab monitor. Pick-ups and drop-offs cannot be made on Fridays, Sundays, or Mondays.
Rental rates are the same for all days, even though the rental period varies slightly.
LATE RETURN POLICIES

Equipment that is overdue will be charged $10 per hour past the time due.

If the equipment has not been returned by closing (5 pm) on the date due, the renter will be charged another full rental fee for the item.

If an item is reserved by another party, and the renter does not return the item on the day that the item is due, a $25 penalty charge will be assessed on top of the late fees and rental charge.

The rental fee and late charges will continue to compile until the item is returned or until AVA has received the full replacement price for the item.

No shows for equipment reservations will incur a $20 fee.
Extenuating circumstances on late returns will be considered only if the lab monitor is notified before the equipment is past due. Phone calls to the lab must be made during official lab hours (423.265.4282 - 102). Email: medialab@avarts.org
COLLATERAL
All renters of equipment are required to leave photocopies of a current driver’s license or I.D. and a major credit card. These will be kept on file. Check cards, bankcards, and debit cards cannot be used as collateral.
RENTAL CONTRACTS
Renters must fill out and sign our rental contract (READ IN FULL) stating that they understand and agree to the policies and procedures of AVA Media Center. Once contracts are signed, equipment can be rented. Renters should not process a payment for rental gear until a reservation has been confirmed with AVA staff.
