Summer Film Institute

AVA invites area students to become a director, set designer, writer or videographer the Summer Film Instittue’s comprehensive summer film program. Presented by the Association for Visual Arts (AVA) and Baylor School, these enrichment programs introduce participants to the art of filmmaking! Four weeklong sessions  focus on short narrative video, creating a music video, cinematography and photography. These classes take place on Baylor’s campus with expert instruction by AVA artists.

The Summer Film Institute is held at the Ireland Fine Arts Center located at Baylor School in Chattanooga. Enrollment is limited to 12 participants per session.
