Art Biz is a six-week program for entrepreneurs; specifically individuals who want to establish or build a career as a professional artist. While creative vision, refined craftsmanship, and fervent passion are essential, artists must also be financially astute, promotionally confident, and technologically current. Art Biz will sharpen business acumen by helping artists cultivate competencies in finance, marketing, and technology. Participants will learn about networking, budgeting, strategizing, monetizing, branding, art festivals, galleries, and social media. Most, importantly, Art Biz offers a supportive, focused environment for collective learning where artists can develop the skills they need to advance and maintain a viable business.
